My Passion

After years of professionally designing and framing thousands of pieces of art, I decided now was the time to unveil my own artistry. Creating my artwork brings me great joy during the process and I love sharing it with everybody. It is truly fulfilling as I watch each one-of-a-kind image emerge onto the canvas.

Kris Newcomb creates vibrant abstract paintings exploding with color and movement. In his Smoke & Mirrors Studios, he produces his beautiful images for display at art exhibitions and galleries including his own Looking Glass Mirror & Frame in Los Gatos, California.

Kris derives inspiration from the ever-changing color pallets he encounters in his travel throughout the natural world. As an in-demand commissionable artist Kris collaborates with designers and clients to come up with just the right look for their living and work spaces.
